Dr. judith gorra

Dr. Gorra has been practicing Pediatrics for over 30 years.

 

She was a founding member of Beacon Pediatrics and in 2013 began working with the state of Delaware in the Division of Public Health/Office of the Medical Director as Chief Pediatrician for the state.

 

During that time, she was part of a team at Child Development Watch who evaluated children for developmental delays and the need for possible interventions. 

 

She transitioned to the Child Health Clinics in 2019 where she performed school entry history and physicals for children new to the country and state.

 

Dr. Gorra recently retired from DPH in March of this year.

 

Dr. Gorra is an active member of the Delaware Chapter of the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) as well as the DE AAP Early Literacy Committee.

 

When not working, Dr. Gorra enjoys traveling, reading, a good movie, and most importantly, spending time with family and friends.
